Key Deliverables:
- Ensure 100% on-time line feeding as per hourly, shift-wise, and daily production plans.
- Manage stores operations including receipt, storage, issue, and return of materials.
- Maintain line-side inventory through Kanban, supermarkets, FIFO/FEFO, and replenishment systems.
- Coordinate with PPC, Production, Quality, and Logistics for material planning and execution.
- Monitor milk-run operations, route adherence, and MHE utilization (tuggers, stackers, pallet trucks).
- Ensure accurate inventory transactions and consumption posting in SAP/ERP.
- Control slow-moving, blocked, and excess inventory and drive ageing reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, packaging standards, and material handling norms.
- Lead and develop stores and line-feeding manpower to improve productivity and discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Cost reduction).

COMPETENCY requirements

|
Detailed technical knowledge –
- Strong understanding of line-feeding operations, supermarkets, Kanban, and takt-based material flow.
- Expertise in SAP / ERP (MM & PP modules) and material transactions.
- Excellent command of MS Excel (Pivot, Lookup, MIS dashboards).
- Knowledge of tuggers, stackers, and material handling equipment (MHE).
- Understanding of lean concepts, JIT, milk-run routing, and production line material control.
- Familiarity with packaging standards, material kitting, and inventory controls.

work experience requirements

|
Nice to have:
- 5–10 years of experience in line feeding / production logistics / manufacturing materials management.
- Experience in automotive / off‑highway / fabrication or assembly-line material operations preferred.
- Exposure to lean systems, Kanban, and JIT material supply.
