Description:
Assistant Manager – Paint Shop Quality
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Experience: 4-6 Years (B.E.) / 9-10 Years (Diploma)
Qualification: B.E./Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality compliance across pretreatment, painting, and surface treatment processes.
- Drive RFT, DPU reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives in the paint shop.
- Validate new paint shades and implement process improvements as per JCB standards.
- Analyze field failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct process, product, and supplier audits to ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, MEP, and Supplier Development teams for process optimization.
- Monitor paint quality, coating performance, and laboratory standards.
- Ensure compliance with SHE requirements, SOPs, FMEA, and HIRA practices.
- Train shop-floor teams on quality control, defect prevention, and best practices.
- Prepare quality reports and support management reviews using Excel and PowerPoint.
