Deputy Manager

Position Name: Deputy Manager – Purchase (Hardware, Filtration & Decals) 

Experience: BE with 8–10 Years 

Location: JCB, Jaipur Plant 

Eligibility / Qualification Criteria: B.E. Mechanical 

Target Industry 

• Construction Equipment / Tractor Industry / Automobile / Heavy Engineering companies with reputed brands 

• Excavator & Compactor Industry (L&T, Volvo, Caterpillar, HAMM, CNH) 

• Loader Backhoe Industry (CNH, Telcon, Terex Vectra, John Deere) 

• Wheel Loader Industry (Caterpillar, Telcon, Liugong India) 

• Tractor Industry (Mahindra, TAFE, International Tractors, John Deere, Swaraj etc.) 

Exposure & Essentials 

• Knowledge of Hardware suppliers & manufacturing processes of hardware
• Different types of surface coating on hardware parts & price settlement

• Sound enough to guid team for using alternate hardware parts in NPIP and able to work out hardware consolidation as well as simplify supply chain.

• Knowledge of hardware parts, filtration components & decals sourcing. 

• Knowledge of filtration media, sealing components & industrial insulation parts. 

• Exposure to printing, lamination & adhesive technologies used in decals. 

• Zero-base costing for hardware, filtration & decal parts. 

• Surface treatment processes like CED, plating, powder coating & screen printing. 

• Packaging and transportation knowledge for delicate/premium finish components. 

• Vendor capability assessment and part development lifecycle understanding. 

• Knowledge of PPAP, APQP & supplier quality systems. 

• Exposure to SAP MM & finance modules. 

Role Experience 

• Technically sound in procurement systems & ISO/TS/QS standards. 

• Strong vendor database knowledge for hardware, filtration & decals. 

• Ability to plan, co-ordinate & implement multiple sourcing projects. 

• Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management. 

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes & negotiation strategies. 

• Experience in handling NPIP parts, cost control & RM indexation. 

• Co-ordination with suppliers, QA, design & production for part development. 

• Agile, proactive & capable of handling fast-paced operations.
