1. Knowledge of Import documentation, Customs clearance.
2. Attention to detail for approving import checklist, knowledge of HS codes.
3. Co-ordination with CHA / Freight Forwarders / Transporters.
4. Ability to proactively chase CHA, Forwarders for timely arrival of shipments in plant.
5. Responsibility of timely clearance without Penalty / Demurrages.
6. Preparation of E-way bill.
7. Close Co-ordination with Finance for duty payments and with stores/warehouse for unloading/ unloading of consignments.
8. Submission of Shipping agent and CHA invoices and ensure timely payments.
9. Submission of customs documents to finance.
10. Capabilities to handle various customs queries.
11. Knowledge of Customs Laws / FEMA etc.
12. SAP knowledge.
13. Good Excel & PPT knowledge.
