Senior Engineer

Job description:-

1. Lead for improvement in Heavy Fabrication and Machining process / matrices - DPU, RFT, Process audit compliances scores. Implementation of Organizational Production system and co-ordinate with back stream shops for problem analysis & corrective actions
2. Planning, carrying out and supervising process trials in New Product Development
3. Working knowledge and Quality trouble shooting of MIG/MAG welding process, Heavy Fabrication machining centers and Stress Relieving Process
4. Compile quality Assurance data, Create reports, statistical data for analysis, recommend corrective & preventive action
5. Expertise in handling of NPIP program by adhering project timeline in planning & execution. Following Gated Approval Process, preparing data / documents  and Interacting with Principle Country team for Gated approval
6. Validating New Processes and continual process upgradation towards up keep them in Industry evaluation
7. Set up initial quality targets for the NPIP program by bench marking
8. Process / fixture designing knowledge and Process optimization to achieve world class process and quality requirements
9. Timely closure of field failures by identifying root cause and horizontal deployment with 8D
10. Ensure all necessary procedures and systems are in place and comply with Organizational Production System requirements.
11. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 with IOT integration for quality data management
12. Plan for up-gradation of process and people through benchmarking and training to take machine quality to next level
13. Focus for improvement of important quality parameters leading to overall customer satisfaction like fault free machines, early hrs failures and repeated failures.
14. Collect fitment trials feedback from customer and resolving issues related to quality
15. Best player in driving the improvements through Quality Circle & cross functional team
16. Product improvement Coordination by ensuring timely change management implementation and declaring to end customer as well as effectiveness monitoring
17. Participating, idea generating and Implementing Product / process improvement proposal through PACE and VAVE projects
18. Hazard identification, near miss reporting from reporting team members

Technical

1. BE Mechanical or Production Engg with 6-8 yrs of Experience
2. Good Fluency and vocabulary in English to interact with UK and US team
3. Preferably from Earthmoving equipment and Construction equipment company
4. Up keep knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Word, PPT, MS Project management and MS team handling
5. 6 Sigma Black bent certified
6. Working experience of Quality functioning from Heavy fabrication and Machining centers
7. Expertise in NPIP lead from Quality Functions
8. Working knowledge of MIG welding Fabrication and Heavy structures Machining centers  
9. Knowledge of Process development and Optimization using SPC, PFMEA and Control plan
10. Knowledge of fixture designing, Change / issue rectification management
11. Working Knowledge of Hands on experience in CP/CPk and way & Means to correct the process to achieve them in track
