Senior Manager - Projects

Nature – Scope of Job –   

• Safety Management
• Quality Management: Ensure quality of the finished products as per the IS standards and the maintenance of the civil and allied works in future during the plant operation.
• Surveillance of Construction works overall including Utilities like FPS, HVAC , FDV , Electrical, AV , IT etc
• Legal Compliance: Ensuring that all the statutory & legal compliance got fulfilled if any need to be covered.
• Cost & Time Management: Control costing in respective areas and project schedule management to achieve the key milestones.
• MIS: Preparing progress % calculation system, progress measures, tracking & maintain scope changes, change management approvals etc.
• Manage contract/tender process to ensure provision and maintenance of a safe working environment within Planning & Development
• Provide leadership in coordinating and managing complex projects.
• Liaising with external agencies, architects & consultants, internal stake holders for determining technical specifications, approvals for execution & obtaining on-time clearances Bill verification & certification
• Well versed in AutoCAD, MS office, PPT, MS Project, cost analysis
• Preparation of Master schedule. Co-ordinate with the other departments for schedule co ordination
• Defining scope of work with applied term & condition. Making decisions and the timely flow of information and decisions to enable completion of the project as required by the contract documents including review and observation of the construction/Maintenance project.
• Preparation of weekly. monthly reports.
• Preparation and review of Method Statements, Work Specific Quality Control Plans, HSE documents as per specifications of contract document.
• Knowledge in SAP applications.
• Budget control
• Knowledge in Green initiatives, sustainability, renewable power , ZLD etc

Key deliverables:

1. Overall control of the Capex / Opex Projects
2. Co-ordination with all the stakeholders for any expansion works / modification works in the entire plant
3. Preparation of MIS reports
4. Legal compliances related to Projects.
5. CAPEX Planning and Installation & commissioning meeting project timelines on MSP
6. Governance control
7. Value engineering
8. Vendor management

ROLE Authority

1. To take decisions facility upkeeping & maintenance
2. To be able to lead and deliver projects meeting timelines and handover to end user
3. To be able to drive the PCM
4. To be able to plan & Execute projects (Capex/modifications) to close the build PCM

COMPETENCY requirements

1. Working knowledge and experience on Maintenance & Project works

2. RFQ preparation for Capital Expenditures like Buildings, Infra, Utilities etc

3. Well versed in Electrical & Mechanical works execution with sequence like FDV, HVAC, FPS etc

4. Working Knowledge on Microsoft Project

5. Drafting SOPS & Process Documentation and maintaining Engineering Work Orders

6. Working knowledge in Project Installation & Commissioning

7. Vendor management

work experience requirements

Nice to have: PMP / NICMAR Certification & Problem-Solving Techniques

Need to have: Problem Solving , Auto CAD, Microsoft Project, Proficient in Microsoft Office

education requirements

Need to have :  B.E / B tech – 16 ~ 18 Years of Exp in Projects with knowledge in MS Project & AutoCAD
